Booking Policy

By using this portal, the USER expressly accepts full and unconditional adherence to each and every one of the General Conditions in the version published by Good Way Santiago, SL. (hereinafter Good Way Santiago) at the time the USER accesses this portal, especially those established regarding the limitation of liability of both Good Way Santiago and any provider of tourist or travel services. Therefore, the USER must carefully read the General Conditions each time they intend to use the WEBSITE, as they may have changed since the last time they accessed.

Booking and contracting any of the trips included in this program implies total and unequivocal acceptance of these general contracting conditions.

Client Responsibility

The client is responsible for the information provided in the booking form. Good Way Santiago is not responsible for the consequences that may arise from the introduction of false or incorrect data by the client.

Applicable Legal Framework

These general conditions are governed by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 of November 16, which approves the consolidated text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws (BOE 287 of November 30, 2007), and other applicable provisions.

Contractual Relationship and Documentation

The contractual relationship between the organizing Agency and the client is governed by these general conditions and by the technical data sheet of the trip detailing its final content. The client is obliged to check the documentation received from the organizing Agency, and any questions in this regard must be notified before the start of the trip.

Specific and Customized Trips

If the client requests a specific trip, different from those proposed on the website, it will be subject to a specific booking and cancellation policy that the agency will provide in each particular case.

Insurance Coverage

The Agency has a <strong>mandatory civil liability insurance</strong> as required by current legislation for travel agencies.

INCLUDED

All our packages include travel assistance insurance with medical and health coverage.

NOT INCLUDED

Cancellation insurance is not included in the base price. Please contact us to purchase it optionally.

Minimum Booking Period

All bookings must be made at least <strong>one week before</strong> the start of the route.


Steps to formalize the booking

  1. 1 Fill out and submit the booking form.
  2. 2 Payment: Pay 100% of the total amount as payment for the trip.
  3. 3 Contract: The booking will not be considered closed until the Travel Contract and the booking payment confirmation email have been received.
  4. 4 Booking confirmation: Once the booking form and the corresponding payment have been received, we will send you an email with the booking confirmation.
  5. 5 Sending the Camino guide: 15 days before the start of the reserved route, Good Way Santiago will send the traveler an email with all contracted services, the accommodations where they will stay, and route instructions. For bookings made less than 15 days before the trip start date, this Camino guide will be sent by email as soon as possible.

Included and Not Included Services

The included and not included services are those specified in the "Camino guide" that the traveler will receive by email 15 days before the start of the contracted route.

Important! Documentation Review

Once you have received this email with the "Camino Guide", the client is obliged to carefully check and read all the travel documentation, as well as the instructions regarding the contracted services or accommodations, paying special attention to dates, towns, and notes for each stage.

Any questions or errors detected must be notified to the agency within a maximum period of 48 hours after receiving the documentation. For bookings made less than 15 days before the trip start date, the traveler must notify any error within 12 hours of receiving the Camino guide. After these periods, Good Way Santiago will be exempt from any responsibility.


Documentation

All persons registered for the trip are responsible for having the necessary documentation in order (ID, passport, visas, health measures, etc.), and it is the client's responsibility to confirm them with the competent authorities. If, due to lack or incorrect documentation, the client is forced to cancel or leave the trip, Good Way Santiago will apply the conditions stated in the cancellation policy.

Prices

All prices indicated are valid, except for typographical errors, until they are modified in writing. Good Way Santiago reserves the right to modify the price of any experience or service based on the season without prior notice.

Last-Minute Bookings (7 days or less)

Bookings made 7 days before the start of the trip will be governed by the following rules and conditions:

  • 100% payment of the booking is required by credit or debit card before 12:00 on the confirmation day.
  • If payment is made within the stipulated time and the agency cannot confirm the booking, the full amount will be refunded within 12 hours.
  • If it is necessary to change the category of accommodations or services, the client will be informed of the alternative, proceeding with a refund in case of downgrade/impossibility to provide the service, or requesting a supplement if it is necessary to upgrade/modify the service.

Regarding the room type selected, subject to availability, the type the client has indicated as priority will be guaranteed.

The luggage transfer service between stages will be carried out exclusively on those stages defined in the quote or travel program to be done on foot or by bicycle, never by means of transport such as a vehicle, train, bus, or similar. Whenever the itinerary includes such a transfer from one stage or route to another, whether managed by the Agency or by the client, it will be the client's responsibility to carry their luggage to the next point.


Contract Modification

The agency reserves the right to <strong>modify/cancel the trip</strong> within <strong>5 days</strong> of acceptance of this quote or, where applicable, of the purchase of one of the experiences available on our website if the delay in acceptance or the <strong>imminent departure date</strong> requested by the user results in <strong>no availability</strong> in accommodations that meet the <strong>minimum quality standards</strong> required by Good Way Santiago.
